Stock Spirits Group has long been consistently implementing a digital transformation strategy.
The work environment in the organization is primarily based on the Microsoft 365 platform with Business licences. Close cooperation with Supremo consultants allowed for an in-depth analysis of challenges and identification of barriers limiting the scaling and development of the enterprise. As a result, it enabled the effective meeting of business needs through the extensive use of Microsoft tools and services.
Discover the challenges, solutions, and results that have enabled Stock Spirits Group to continuously grow and effectively manage a global organization.
The dynamic growth of Stock Spirits Group and its international structure created significant challenges related to the integration of fragmented IT systems, data security, consistent internal communication, and employee readiness to adopt AI tools. Existing solutions failed to scale with the company’s pace of development and resulted in increased operational costs.
Supremo experts conducted a comprehensive IT audit, migrated subsidiaries to the Microsoft ecosystem, tailored licensing plans, and implemented a wide range of Microsoft solutions—including Intune, Defender, Purview, Copilot, SharePoint, and Viva Engage. The project also included the relocation of the IT environment to Poland, development of a multilingual intranet (in 8 languages), user adoption programs, and extensive training in AI and cybersecurity, fully supported by Microsoft Poland initiatives.
Stock Spirits Group achieved a reduction in IT system costs, streamlined IT environment management, and improved working conditions for IT teams. 90% of employees actively use the AI assistant Copilot, while the SharePoint-based intranet ensures consistent communication across the organization. The project accelerated digital transformation, enhanced data protection, and fostered a modern, agile workplace culture.
Stock Spirits Group is one of the leading alcohol producers in Europe. For years, they have been undergoing a comprehensive digital transformation using Microsoft 365 Copilot solutions.
Stock Spirits Group is one of the largest alcohol producers in Europe.
Expanding Stock Spirits Group with new brands and production facilities requires the organization (especially the IT department) to ensure smooth process handling in the IT infrastructure and migrate environments to Microsoft while maintaining data security. Using multiple IT application providers and employee applications in several countries did not help in proper administration and generated additional costs.
In such a large organization as Stock Spirits Group, each project requires a business analysis to confirm the validity of the change and additionally demonstrate savings. Therefore, at the beginning, we decided to conduct an audit, which was carried out by our experts in cooperation with IT specialists from Stock Polska.
The verification clearly indicated that the most advantageous scenario would be to switch to higher licences – Microsoft 365 E5; E3 + E5 Security. They include access to a range of services and solutions that were previously offered by various providers. This allows for a global reduction in IT system and solution costs.
A key element of the project, and thus our cooperation, was the transfer of the IT environment from the UK to Poland (over 700 users) and the faster migration of new Group companies to the Microsoft environment. Additionally, we aimed to fully utilize the support opportunities provided by Microsoft in such situations.
Stock Spirits Group achieved financial and qualitative results regarding the efficiency of the IT department's work as a result of cooperation with Supremo. What effects can be observed?
A company with an international structure, such as Stock Spirits Group, also faces challenges related to maintaining consistent internal communication between all companies. This includes, for example, adapting messages to different recipient groups and preparing them in various languages.
Previous internal communication to employees was carried out through the Workplace platform by META. Due to the end of support for this product, the Group wanted to implement a new solution that would functionally correspond to the intranet and corporate social media.
For a company with many companies on a global scale, the optimal solution was to create intranet sites in SharePoint.
The most important effect is a consistent message, greater integration with the corporate community, and a real sense of being part of the Group.
Stock Spirits Group notes a number of benefits from implementing an intranet based on the SharePoint platform. They are primarily measured by the number of page views of individual intranet subpages, which number in the tens of thousands. What else did the SharePoint implementation project bring?
With the advent of artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT, there was a great interest in using them in daily work at Stock Spirits Group. Employees felt excitement, but also pressure to keep up with technological change.
It quickly became apparent that curiosity alone was not enough – effective use of AI required a thoughtful management model and building awareness within the team.
The company also had to face the need to manage risk, the quality of shared data, and ensure security. All this to both fully utilize the potential of modern solutions and not expose the organization to uncontrolled threats.
In response to these challenges, Copilot proved to be a natural choice, perfectly complementing existing investments in the Microsoft 365 environment.
The level of Copilot usage exceeded expectations – as many as 90% of employees actively use the new tool. The organization clearly sees an explosion of ideas for task and process optimization.
Copilot not only increased productivity at the level of daily duties but also set the direction for further strategic initiatives. As part of AI development, the implementation of Copilot Studio and process automation is planned – with the support of Copilot agents to optimize selected areas.
Microsoft 365 and Copilot are powerful tools, but they do not guarantee success on their own. Technology gains true value only through users who accept and start using it.
Stock Spirits Group has placed a strong emphasis on service adoption and, in particular, employee education along with the development of digital competencies with AI.
The Group actively engages in maximizing the potential of AI programs and training funded by Microsoft: Copilot (Copilot Proof of Value, Copilot Studio Vision & Value, Copilot Vision & Value). They are essential for Stock Spirits Group employees to acquire skills that allow for smooth, effective work with artificial intelligence in their daily duties.
Achieving such exceptional results would not have been possible without the support of Microsoft in Poland and the full commitment of the Stock Polska team. Close and partnership cooperation with Supremo was another success factor for the implemented projects.
Thanks to special programs and training, the adoption process covered a number of strategic aspects related to cybersecurity services: Cybersecurity Assessment, Data Security, Threat Protection, training, and workshops for IT departments and application users.
Thanks to effective management of the transformation process, clear communication, and preparing employees for changes related to the use of AI at work, Stock Spirits Group not only gained a technological advantage but also achieved real financial benefits.
This transformation has become a digital revolution and an impulse to build a culture of openness, innovation, and continuous development.
“We decided to cooperate with Supremo because of the very broad, specialized competencies of the consultants in the company. From the first meetings, we had the opportunity to see that the expert knowledge of the engineers would help us successfully carry out this difficult and complex project. We wanted to avoid many pitfalls that could have occurred during the migration.”
Kamil Ciszewski, End-user Computing Manager at Stock Polska
“From the beginning, we placed great emphasis on properly monitoring the effectiveness of the new AI tools implementation, because we run numerous projects in that area. The level of Copilot usage in Stock Spirits Group is easy to check via Microsoft’s metrics. Aside from ensuring data security, this is another important advantage of Copilot.”
